Narrative
For locating in an urban enterprise zone, Wal-Mart received a 50% sales tax rebate and an exemption from state sales tax for capital improvements and construction materials. To qualify for the credits, Wal-Mart had to hire only one full-time employee from the zone area. If the store maintains its current employment level, it can keep the benefits through 2019.
